The HDSP can recommend projects to the Harrogate Area Committee for the North Yorkshire County Council Community Development Funds (CDF). There is an annual open application process, projects have to evidence how they contribute to the priorities of both the North Yorkshire Sustainable Community Strategy and the Harrogate District Sustainable Community Strategy. Projects are assessed against a set criteria and those who meet this go forward to the Area Committee for approval.

The projects that were successful in the 2008/09 additional allocation were approved in February 2009.The list of successful projects can be found by clicking here.
